Slavery
Slavery was not allowed during the trustee period. The royal colony allowed slavery. Georgia's economy grew very rapidly. The colonists were growing new crops that could thrive in Georgia's climate. More crops were grown and sold quicker than in the past. Before slavery, Georgia was a struggling colony and then with the use of slavery, it was very strong.
